ANCHORAGE, Alaska ? Alaska police say that one person has been killed in a shooting at an Anchorage Hotel.
Lt. Dave Parker says police locked down the Millennium Hotel Saturday night and are searching for a suspect.
Media reports say half a dozen police cars and two ambulances were at the site and officers armed with rifles were covering an exit.
Parker tells The Associated Press that police have identified the suspect. No motive has been established, but Parker says investigators have determined that the victim had been targeted and it wasn't a random attack.
He says police have also surrounded the suspect's residence in Anchorage.
Parker says hotel guests have been asked to remain in their rooms to await evacuation as police methodically search the building.
No one else has been injured
