Financial News Service ranks Universal Forest Products, Inc., (NASDAQ:UFPI) number one in sales per share (SPS) at $92.83 in the Building Products Industry. Universal supplies lumber products to the manufactured and modular housing industry, as well as to lumberyards and other builders. The stock outperformed both the Dow and the S&P 500 during yesterday?s trading. SPS is a tool for measuring the performance of companies in similar industries. The stock traded 81,000 shares yesterday compared to 130,000 shares normally traded daily. China Ceramics (CCCL) was second with $80.42 per share, followed by Lennox International (NYSE:LII) with SPS of $59.90.
